In addition to being a contemptible ghoul who uses a tragedy to attack an unrelated concept, evolutionary biology (we are all on the same page, right? The evidence so far is that the Virginia Tech killer was a mentally ill young man with a confused Christ complex, not a ruthless atheist proponent of evolution who was following the advice of Charles Darwin’s ghost), this "full time creation evangelist" Grady McMurtry makes a revealing admission:
Therefore, he [McMurtry] asserts, people (…)

Every time I think I find hope, it gets dashed.
21 April 2007 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentWatching Keith Olbermann tonight, I learned that Karl Rove said something nauseatingly dishonest when asked about the decision to go to war in Iraq. When asked whose idea it was to launch a preemptive war in Iraq, Rove replied - and I’m not making this up - "I think it was Osama bin Laden’s."
OK. I wish that I had made that one up, but I can’t honestly say that it really surprised me. Rove has revealed, time after time, that he has absolutely no scruples when it comes to pushing his point (…) -
The V-Tech massacre - A real-life Manchurian Candidate

4 commentsThe V-Tech massacre - A real-life Manchurian Candidate
News Commentary – April 19, 2007
Virginia Tech University student eyewitnesses repeatedly recall the robotic, detached demeanor of the killer, Seung-Hui Cho.
* he killed with unconscious abandon * his victims were random * he did not kill in self-defense
This type behaviour can be construed as indicative of mind control, and/or advanced behavioural modification through the use of mechanical devices such as computer (…) -
American Suicide Note
19 April 2007 par (Open-Publishing)
2 commentsIn thinking about what I ought to tell you regarding these dark days various clichés come to mind: I see no light at the end of the tunnel. The American dream is a nightmare. The American experiment failed. Pride precedeth the fall.
To witness the death of our representative form of government is to feel some of the stages of grief identified by Dr. Kubler-Ross in her landmark study: disbelief, anger, despair… acceptance.
I found it unbelievable that our republic would spill out into the (…) -
Why Virginia Tech killings happened
19 April 2007 par (Open-Publishing)
Yet another rampage has occurred at a school, this time leaving 33 people dead at Virginia Tech—the worst such incident ever at a U.S. college campus.
The news media seem stunned and surprised, yet their coverage sounds so similar to the stories about Columbine eight years ago. They dwell on the personality of the young man the police say did the shooting, before killing himself. They talk about him being a “loner,” depressed, perhaps angry at women.
But aren’t there lonely and depressed (…) -
Oh, The Outrage! A Country Falling Apart.
19 April 2007 par (Open-Publishing)
3 commentsEverywhere you look the infrastructure, once sound, well built and highly functional...is falling apart at the seams.
Each night hundreds of thousands of children go to be hungry, and the numbers of poor and suffering swell with each passing day.
There are severe air quality problems throughout the country, and new diseases seem to pop up each week! Reports keep flooding into the government agencies about outbreaks of plague and other serious life threatening illnesses.
Gas prices (…) -
Media Bias: Dead Students Trump Dead Soldiers
18 April 2007 par (Open-Publishing)
3 commentsI wanted to get this post up a day ago, but the rigors of competing in the great American fiction writing contest, otherwise known as the federal income tax filing deadline (yeah, I know, I’m a procrastinator), and some interesting research into dream theory kept me more than busy enough yesterday.
The 33 deaths at Virginia Tech are surely a tragedy worthy of our attention, remorse and sharing in the grief of the families of the victims. The murder rampage was an horrific act perpetrated (…) -
Do Iraqis equate President Bush to Cho Seung-Hui?

3 commentsDo Iraqis equate President Bush to Cho Seung-Hui? By Mary MacElveen April 18, 2007
As President Bush spoke to those gathered at Blacksburgh, Virginia after the loss of 33 lives including the life of Cho Seung-Hui’s, he made these striking remarks, “Yesterday began like any other day. Students woke up, and they grabbed their backpacks and they headed for class. And soon the day took a dark turn, with students and faculty barricading themselves in classrooms and dormitories — confused, (…) -
Helen Thomas Compares Bush’s White House to Watergate

3 comments“No one can terrorize a whole nation, unless we are all his accomplices.” - Edward R. Murrow
Westminister, MD - Helen Thomas was a speaker at the Forum at McDaniel College, on April 12, 2007. The school couldn’t have chosen better! Ms. Thomas is a veteran White House reporter and she was in top form before an appreciative and overflow audience. With respect to the Iraqi War, she asked: “What is victory and what is defeat? You might try to remember that it is their country. The President’s (…) -
The Great 911 Deception & its Reptilian Effect
18 April 2007 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentIn their nightmare plans for the future of humanity, 911 was meant to be a symbolic act of terror, a gateway into the nether world of humanity’s knee-jerk, flight or fight, reptilian mind. A mind not based in reality but in fear and negative emotion.
About a month before the US Presidential elections in 2000 I had an overwhelming sensation of a huge cloud of evil enveloping humanity. In my mind’s eye I saw a bottomless black pit into which this evil would drag us down to imprison and (…)
