PRESS RELEASE: Galloway Tour
British MP George Galloway Announces September Tour of
United States to Speak Against War in Iraq
George Galloway is Respect party MP for Bethnal Green
and Bow in East London. He recently electrified the
United States with his appearance at a Senate Permanent
Subcommittee on Investigations hearing on May 17, when he turned the proceedings intoa condemnation of the war in Iraq.
CNN’s Wolf Blitzer described Galloway’s speech in the
Senate as "a blistering attack on US senators rarely
heard" in Washington.
After his speech, the New York Times noted in a July 2
profile,"His House of Commons e-mail box had to be shut
down for a spell, after it buckled under the heft of
thousands of messages; most came from America, and some
were sent by the family members of dead and
wounded soldiers."
Galloway’s new book is Mr. Galloway Goes to Washington
(The New Press)and will be published and timed for
national release in bookstores in conjunction with the
tour.
In the wake of the recent London bombings, one of which
took place inhis constituency, Mr. Galloway took to the
floor of Parliament to decry the loss of innocent life,
but also to warn against the anti-Muslim hysteriabeing
created by the policies of Tony Blair’s government.

New York(September 14), Toronto (September 16 and 17),
Madison (September 18),Chicago (September 19), Seattle
(September 20), San Francisco (September 21),and Los

informationclearinghouse.info has an incredible collection of movies you can watch/download. Among them is Galloway’s Senate testimony, the full 40 min and the 4 min clip where he really nails it.

When George Galloway opened his Senate testimony, with a play on that great commie witch hunter, Senator Joseph McCarthy’s, famous opening routine, "Are you now, or have you ever been, a member of the communist party"? with:
"I do not now, nor have I ever owned a barrel of oil...I knew that these Senate Committee Members were doomed....
Here unfolded a mini Shakespearean play with farce, comedy and tragedy, neatly packaged a tour du force.

Don,t let Pat Robertson hear about this!!!

This traitor needs to stay out of our country. When have you ever heard of an American lawmaker ever going overseas to denounce something that country did?

awww, poor baby
go to google, put your fingers on your keyboard, and type, "bush denounces", let me know what turns up....
Bush has so many cheerleaders to use up and fall on their swords. The funny thing is, he doesn’t give a shit about any of them and they’re willing to do it free of charge. You can’t beat free cheerleaders.
yes yes, I know, I’m a liberal communist looking to give comfort to our enemies...rinse wash repeat.....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Give me a B, Give me a U, Give me an S, Give me an H, Give me an I, Give me a T, what’s that spell?...BUSHIT!

Mr. Galloway does the right think, in order to inform the American people.
I like to inform you that on various occasions American politicians do it the same was.
But now nobody wants really listen to them, because America has lost any credibility.
Restoration means impeachment.
Freedom and Democracy for all Americans.

Utterly amazing how profanity and ignorance go hand in hand! I was told a long time ago that profanity was a lack of education. Tell me something ’dude’, are you karl rove by any chance? If not ask him for a job. You would fit in very nicely!!!!

You’re joking right? America’s so-called lawmakers do that every day and it is the reason everyone hates Americans and wants to kill them. America cannot keep its nose out of other people’s business. That is the Number 1 problem with America.

America does not "denounce" it just goes and bombs the shit out of any country it disagrees with and kills their citizens and occupies the land and steals the resources....check out your U.S. history this has been going on for a long long time.

My hat off to one of the few politicians with enough ’cojones’ to tell it like it is. Make no mistake about it, he’d better hire a strong force to protect his back. This country is famous for eliminating contrary opinion about the ’status quo.’ Wish him all the luck in the world!!!

Interesting to see how Fox cover, if at all. They’ll probably treat it with the same sensationalism as a Marilyn Manson Tour.

Do you think Mr. Robertson will welcome him to the land of the free?
27 August 2005, 09:14
Hardly. this is a case where polerities oppose each other. Should be a dog and cat match. Robertson can be the cat. Female one at that!!!!
