Take a deep breath, back off cool down, and look at the world the way a Zen philosopher does.
Good Stuff is happening, or should I say Bad Stuff is NOT happening...sort of.
Afghanistan isn’t yet back in the hands of the Taliban, and Karzai is still asking for foreign investment and promising to stop the drug trade.
Israel hasn’t nuked Lebanon or Palestine yet. AND, that soldier may yet be alive!
Iran has quieted down for a spell. No threats to bomb Israel or attack the USA.
North (…)

Michael Scheuer’s Glass House
12 July 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
Michael Scheuer’s Glass House By Larry C Johnson Monday, 10 July 2006 at 16:07 Former CIA analyst, Michael Scheuer hit the hypocrisy trail last week with his attack op-ed on the credibility of Richard Clarke and the FBI. According to Scheuer:
Media teasers about the mini-series have said that Mr. Clarke — the former "terrorism czar" — and a senior FBI officer, the late John O’Neill, will be the heroes of the saga. If true, and if ABC’s fact-checkers are not diligent in verifying Mr. (…) -

The Terrorism Index

The Terrorism Index By FOREIGN POLICY & The Center For American Progress July/August 2006
Is the United States winning the war on terror? Not according to more than 100 of America’s top foreign-policy hands. They see a national security apparatus in disrepair and a government that is failing to protect the public from the next attack. Following the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, Americans understandably rallied around the flag. Having just suffered the deadliest attack ever on (…) -
What Secret?

What Secret? By Larry C Johnson Wednesday, 05 July 2006 at 13:40 (Cross Posted at RawStory.com)
If you still labor under the fantasy that the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, and the Wall Street Journal divulged "classified information" that put U.S. lives at risk or hampered our ability to track terrorist financial assets, you are willfully ignorant or have been living in a sensory isolation tank. [Word to Congressman Peter King—pull your fat, Irish Republican Army-supporting head (…) -
Super Bush

Super Bush Posted By The Olive Ream at 9:56 AM Saturday, June 24, 2006
Super Bush is a non-fictional superhero, in the Neocomic Universe, created by the members of the PNAC, he has become the world’s most infamous, enduring yet comical superheroes.
Rather unlike Phoenix rising from the ashes, Super Bush emerged more like a putrid stench emerging from the sewers of New York after the September 11th attack on the World Trade Center. Although believed to be originally from another planet, (…) -
bin Laden? Bush: I don’t think about him much...and now, neither does the CIA
6 July 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
3 commentsI think we all know that Bush believed that bin Laden was responsible for 9/11. At least that’s what he kept saying for months on end back in 2002-3. Then the CIA revealed a tape by bin Laden which they declared legitimate, showing bin Laden in a group, talking about the success of the 9/11 attack (not actually admitting it). Bush was always saying "We’ll run him down, smoke him out, and bring him to justice"..and then "Wanted...dead or alive".
Well, as you all know by now the CIA just (…) -

What Happened To Accountability?

What Happened To Accountability? By Clarence Page 7/3/2006
I think President Bush does protest a bit too much about the New York Times, Los Angeles Times and the Wall Street Journal’s exposure of his administration’s secret money-tracking program. Bush called it "disgraceful" that the newspapers reported that Treasury Department officials acquired access to the world’s largest international financial database, the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication, commonly known (…)
