by Jennifer Monroe
CRAWFORD, TX — (OfficialWire) — 08/22/05 — Supporters of the illegal war in Iraq and it’s aftermath, began arriving over the weekend in Crawford, Texas. About 350 members of the Texas chapter of FreeRepublic-passionate apologists of George W. Not surprisingly though, none of these (…)

Dear Cindy Sheehan: The Camp Casey organizers are fascists
22 August 2005 par (Open-Publishing)
2 comments"Camp Casey is not a democratically run site out of sheer necessity. There has to be some control on the overall message coming out of Crawford." Socialists arrested for selling Howard Zinn Books, but they let PETA set up a tent, and the media loves it.
Camp Casey is being squashed by a flood of "fake left" leaders. If we want to save America, we need to analyze every statement and action by every "progressive" leader. Note to Cindy: many of your ’friends’ may be working for the wrong (…) -

Saturday 20 August 2005
The media are wrong. The people who have come out to Camp Casey to help coordinate the press and events with me are not putting words in my mouth, they are taking words out of my mouth. I have been known for sometime as a person who speaks the truth and speaks it strongly. I have always called a liar a liar and a hypocrite a hypocrite. Now I am urged to use softer language to appeal to (…) -

All of them have lived through the same horror as Cindy Sheehan, a grieving military mom whose anti-war protest at the president’s doorstep has captured the national spotlight.
But Wisconsin mothers who have lost children in the Iraq war do not necessarily feel a kindred spirit with Sheehan - or agree with her tactics.
Most identify with the protester on at least one (…) -

We continue to be part of the vigil at Crawford, Texas, even as Cindy Sheehan had to leave to be with her mother

1 commentDear Julieanna,
We continue to be part of the vigil at Crawford, Texas, even as Cindy Sheehan had to leave to be with her mother, who suffered a stroke. We pray for her mother’s recovery and for Cindy’s return.
On Thursday, we had a wonderful “mother’s day” at the camp where all day long, women at the vigil and around the country wrote letters to Laura Bush asking her to intercede with her husband on Cindy’s behalf. In just 24 hours after putting out the call, we received over 500 (…) -

Dozens of war protesters camping along a road near President Bush’s ranch are about to pull up their stakes - but they’re not leaving.
The group is moving about a mile away to a 1-acre corner lot, owned by an Army veteran who sympathizes with those at the vigil that started Aug. 6 by grieving mother Cindy Sheehan.
"I just think people should have a right to protest without being harassed," Fred Mattlage told The Associated Press late Tuesday. "And I’m against the (…) -
An article of hope for Cindy Sheehan
18 August 2005 par (Open-Publishing)
Cindy Sheehan a concerned parent waiting in the Texas sun for accountability from the President for going to war is not alone. The revolutionary council of concerned citizens (RCCC) is an attempt to focus the national debate on Informed Consent. The manifest for the revolution is a PowerPoint presentation commissioned by the Department of Defense (DOD) and prepared by three physicians, defining Informed Consent. Although Informed Consent is usually considered an individual contract it also (…)
