Wayne Madsen Report August 11, 2006
According to knowledgeable sources in the UK and other countries, the Tony Blair government, under siege by a Labor Party revolt, cleverly cooked up a new "terror" scare to avert the public’s eyes away from Blair’s increasing political woes. British law enforcement; neo-con and intelligence operatives in the United States, Israel, and Britain; and Rupert Murdoch’s global media empire cooked up the terrorist plot, liberally borrowing from the failed (…)

Condi’s House of Cards will fall...
12 August 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
5 commentsToday we all saw Condi Rice speak at the U.N. and propose the WEAK resolution (which passed 15-0 in favor), for cessation of hostilities and the influx of approx. 20,000 Lebanese troops to control South Lebanon.
Hint: It won’t work. This is just a face-saving move for UN members to salve their collective consciences. They knew they had to finally do something, so they did. Lip service and hope.
Just as simple as that.
So what comes next? There is NO timeline for disarming or even for (…) -

Olmert cannot remain in the prime minister’s office
11 August 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
2 commentsBy Ari Shavit
Ehud Olmert may decide to accept the French proposal for a cease-fire and unconditional surrender to Hezbollah. That is his privilege. Olmert is a prime minister whom journalists invented, journalists protected, and whose rule journalists preserved. Now the journalists are saying run away. That’s legitimate. Unwise, but legitimate.
However, one thing should be clear: If Olmert runs away now from the war he initiated, he will not be able to remain prime minister for even one (…) -

Considering the shocking news on the growing humanitarian catastrophe the ongoing battles in South Lebanon and the air rides on civilian targets in almost all parts of Lebanon create for the people of that country,
Realizing the results of the political talks a delegation of the Party of the European Left had with politicians (…) -
Oh!, The Irony!,The Irony! "Fascism?"
11 August 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentGeorge Bush and his minions are following the advice of Rush Limbaugh beginning today. They are branding worldwide extremist Muslims as "Islamofascists"
This is a gross misnomer.
The dictionary defines Fascism as:
"A stystem of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictatorship...a policy of belligerant nationalism"
It doesn’t fit the "terrorists" at all, but maybe if you take a look you might find something more accurate closer to home (?).
Don’t believe me? (…) -
