What I am doing is calling my congressman everyday and telling him that if he votes to make the unconstitutional patriot act permanent, I will start a petition to make sure he gets a permanent bunk in Leavensworth.     Once I owned a small, gray, coarse paper bill, issued in Revolutionary days of the U.S. It was crudely hand-etched and printed on a small hand press. On it were the words: DEATH TO COUNTERFEITERS. Counterfeiters would have had an easy time printing any denomination of bill for the technical skill was minimal. The temptation to print money in those days of poverty and tumult must have been enormous, hence the penalty of Death. (…)

    We now know that Bush is openly disregarding the Constitution. We know that Congress is doing nothing about it, maybe they’ll appoint another ’bi-partisan’ commission to ’investigate’.

    Let’s not play the ballgame on THEIR terms. The issue is not the way Cheney "mishandled " a PR issue. The issues are 1) Cheney , as pointed out by Alex Jones , was within 10 feet of the man he shot. Will the press check out the ballistics and , for once, tell the truth ? I hold not my breath. 2 ) The second issue is the blatant obstruction of justice , a jerrry-rigged partnership by Cheney , the Secret Service and the local constabulary to coverup Cheney’s drunken state (…)

    An FBI informant named Randy Glass claims he was importuned by a top deputy of Colin Powell to refrain from telling the media in the summer of 2001 that the Twin Towers were going to fall. His credibilty is augmented by intelligence gathered when he met with Pakistani (ISI) agents who wanted to procure nuclear weapons parts as well as stinger missiles.     MORE photographs have been leaked of Iraqi citizens tortured by US soldiers at the notorious Abu Ghraib prison on the outskirts of Baghdad.
    Tonight the SBS Dateline program plans to broadcast about 60 previously unpublished photographs that the US Government has been fighting to keep secret in a court case with the American Civil Liberties Union.
