Lets make this sweet, short and simple. What I am doing is calling my congressman everyday and telling him that if he votes to make the unconstitutional patriot act permanent, I will start a petition to make sure he gets a permanent bunk in Leavensworth. I urge each and every man woman and child reading this to do the same>

The National Counterterrorism Center maintains a central repository of 325,000 names of international terrorism suspects or people who allegedly aid them, a number that has more than quadrupled since the fall of 2003, according to counterterrorism officials.
The list kept by the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC) — created in (…) -
DEATH TO COUNTERFEITERS

3 commentsDEATH TO COUNTERFEITERS
By Peter Fredson
February 16, 2006
Once I owned a small, gray, coarse paper bill, issued in Revolutionary days of the U.S. It was crudely hand-etched and printed on a small hand press. On it were the words: DEATH TO COUNTERFEITERS. Counterfeiters would have had an easy time printing any denomination of bill for the technical skill was minimal. The temptation to print money in those days of poverty and tumult must have been enormous, hence the penalty of Death. (…) -
NEWS JUNKIE
16 February 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentIn NEWS JUNKIE, the cutthroat worlds of journalism, politics, and high finance are laid bare by Jason Leopold, whose addictive tendencies led him from a life of drug abuse and petty crime to become an award-winning investigative journalist who exposed some of the biggest corporate and political scandals in recent American history.
Leopold broke key stories about the California energy crisis and Enron Corporation’s infamous phony trading floor as a reporter for the Dow Jones Newswire. While (…) -
How We Can Save America: A Practical Solution

This is a letter to all of those Americans that know what is really happening in America.
We now know that Bush is openly disregarding the Constitution. We know that Congress is doing nothing about it, maybe they’ll appoint another ’bi-partisan’ commission to ’investigate’.
This is not acceptable.
All of those elected officials swore to Uphold and Defend the Constitution. They have collectively failed, whether due to bribes, blackmail, incompetence, collusion, etc we (…) -
The "Real Thing", a familiar tune
16 February 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
We’d like to make the world our own and reap the revenue Drill for oil and rape the land and not leave ’til we’re through! We’d like to teach the world to drink a Starbuck’s latte, tall and build a bunch of Dominos and food courts in the mall. We’d like to have some bases in those countries where we don’t and reap the love of all the world (but we all know we won’t) Hey Ka-Ching!,Ka-Ching!, that’s the name of that tune! (etc) We’d like Chineses and Russkis too to get out of our way (…)

The Great Distraction : Cheney "improperly" handled press notification
15 February 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
3 commentsLet’s not play the ballgame on THEIR terms. The issue is not the way Cheney "mishandled " a PR issue. The issues are 1) Cheney , as pointed out by Alex Jones , was within 10 feet of the man he shot. Will the press check out the ballistics and , for once, tell the truth ? I hold not my breath. 2 ) The second issue is the blatant obstruction of justice , a jerrry-rigged partnership by Cheney , the Secret Service and the local constabulary to coverup Cheney’s drunken state (…)

STOP THE WAR ON IRAN BEFORE IT STARTS!
15 February 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
2 commentsPresident Bush, Vice President Cheney, Secretary Rice, Secretary Rumsfeld, Secretary General Annan, Senators and Representatives,
It is with grave concern that I observe the growing threat of a new U.S. war—this time against the people of Iran.
The media is filled with reports of an alleged nuclear threat posed by Iran and the assumed need for the U.S. to take military action. These reports recall the "Weapons of Mass Destruction" stories issued in the months leading up to the war on (…) -
FBI INFORMANT : TOP POWELL DEPUTY HAD 9/11 PRIOR KNOWLEDGE
15 February 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
2 commentsAn FBI informant named Randy Glass claims he was importuned by a top deputy of Colin Powell to refrain from telling the media in the summer of 2001 that the Twin Towers were going to fall. His credibilty is augmented by intelligence gathered when he met with Pakistani (ISI) agents who wanted to procure nuclear weapons parts as well as stinger missiles. Glass contacted the office of Sen. Bob Graham prior to 9/11 and relayed this specific warning to the senator’s staff in July (…)

The photos America doesn’t want seen
15 February 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
21 commentsBy Matthew Moore
MORE photographs have been leaked of Iraqi citizens tortured by US soldiers at the notorious Abu Ghraib prison on the outskirts of Baghdad.
Tonight the SBS Dateline program plans to broadcast about 60 previously unpublished photographs that the US Government has been fighting to keep secret in a court case with the American Civil Liberties Union.
Although a US judge last year granted the union access to the photographs following a freedom-of-information request, the US (…)
