Outraged intelligence professionals say President George W. Bush is "cheapening" and "politicizing" their work with claims the United States foiled a planned terrorist attack against Los Angeles in 2002.
"The President has cheapened the entire intelligence community by dragging us into his fantasy world," says a longtime field operative of the Central Intelligence Agency. "He is basing this absurd claim on the same discredited informant who told us Al Qaeda would attack (…)

AN OBSCENE ABUSE OF POWER : BUSH’S BOGUS "TERROR" ALERTS
10 February 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
7 commentsI was surfing over the net and found the following article posted on What Really Happened .Com . To summarise , The terrorist clap-trap Bush put out yesterday regarding the work of his gallant men in saving the citizens of the City Angels came from the identical source that warned "AMURKA" that financial institutions in Washington DC and NYC were about to be hammered in July 2004
That deranged stunt was designed to blunt public attention away from the coming Democratic (…) -

Smearing Jimmy Carter : Born in the NSA ?
9 February 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
2 commentsOn May 18, 2002 Newsmax.com , in typical fashion, retailed a smear launched against former Presdent Jimmy Carter. The vulgar tabloid , The Globe , showed pictures of an alleged "lady friend" of the pious and genuinely Christian Jimmy Carter, making the totally outrageous claim that the former president had a mistress.
Since the "mistress" in question denies any romantic relationship with Carter , all the reader was left with was a photograph of a woman placing herself in the man’s (…) -
Bush and Cheney were illegally spying on Americans BEFORE 9/11
9 February 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
2 commentsIn the months before 9/11, thousands of American citizens were inadvertently swept up in wiretaps, had their emails monitored, and were being watched as they surfed the Internet by spies at the super-secret National Security Agency, former NSA and counterterrorism officials said.
The NSA, with full knowledge of the White House, crossed the line from routine surveillance of foreigners and suspected terrorists into illegal activity by continuing to monitor the international telephone calls (…) -

The man hitting himself on the head with a hammer was asked why he was doing it. He replied: “Because it feels so good when I stop.” This country is hitting itself on the head but can’t seem to stop.
Yesterday evening I accidentally tuned in to Larry King who was conducting a live TV report. It showed a number of people in an underground garage milling about, some looking bored, others anxious. They had been working in the Senate (…) -
"Who, me?" My interview with Resident Bush
8 February 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentVilly: Mr.Bush, I understand your friend Kenneth Lay, whom you call "Kenny Boy",is going to trial shortly for criminal actions.
Bush: First, he’s no friend. I’m not sure I ever met him. And I didn’t call him "Kenny Boy", what I’m sure I said was "Any Toy" when asked what my nephew wanted for Christmas. The Press always twists these things.
Villy: Well, let me ask you about Duke Cunningham.
Bush: Who?
Villy: OK. Well how about Jack Abramoff? I understand he visited you many times. (…) -

"Every senator in this chamber is partly responsible for sending 50,000 young Americans to an early grave. This chamber reeks of blood...It does not take any courage at all for a congressman, or a senator, or a president to wrap himself in the flag and say we are staying in Vietnam, because it is not our blood that is being shed. But we are responsible for those young men and their lives and their hopes." Senator George McGovern, Sept 1, 1970

NUTTY BOLTON DEPLOYED TO NAIL "ATOMIC IRAN "
8 February 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
2 commentsThe Bush/Cheney administration was hell bent for leather to install John Bolton as US Ambassador to the Unites nations A dear friend of Judith Miller , Bolton is a man who has publicly expressed his desire that several stories of the UN Building cease to exist from the the face of the Earth. Bush , in one of his many tasteless "jokes " asked UN General Secretary Kofi Annan whether , with his mad Ambassador in the building , had the UN structure remained in tact. (…)
