Jonah Goldberg is the living, breathing embodiment of virtually all that is pernicious in the malignant socioeconomic and political structures collectively known as the American Empire. Yet tragically, this scheming sycophant to the cynical, privileged criminals of the US plutocracy reaches countless millions through myriad corporate media conduits as he weaves his sophistic arguments supporting nearly every morally repulsive aspect of United States foreign policy.

Some intelligence sources more wary of covert Pentagon operations
The Central Intelligence Agency has received approval at least twice in the last several years to conduct an “information war” against several countries in the Middle East, including Iran, Lebanon and Syria, according to current and former intelligence officials.
In addition, the Bush (…) -
"Good Riddance Attention Whore"

I have endured a lot of smear and hatred since Casey was killed and especially since I became the so-called "Face" of the American anti-war movement. Especially since I renounced any tie I have remaining with the Democratic Party, I have been further trashed on such "liberal blogs" as the Democratic Underground. Being called an "attention whore" and being told "good riddance" are some of the more milder rebukes.
I have come to some heartbreaking conclusions this Memorial (…) -
USUK Preparations for the Apocalypse?

1 commentIn an inexorable build-up of propaganda and military encirclement prior to a first strike attack on Iran, the Bush junta, along with its London quislings, have switched their anti-Iranian propaganda from nuclear issues to accuse the Iranian government of "meddling" in Iraq and supplying Iraqi guerillas weapons with which to fight the US and British occupying troops.
The evidence for such allegations was always sketchy and reminiscent of the concocted lies about Yellowcake Uranium and WMDs, (…) -
WE DID IT ALL FOR YOU! Our Gifts To Iraq
28 May 2007 par (Open-Publishing)
Who among you doesn’t believe that the Neocons in Washington didn’t design the "liberation" of Iraq specifically to create a dynamic and noble democracy, evict a tyrant who threatened the entire planet and in particular the USA, and establish a decent country in the Mid East which honors the "rule of law"?
Who?
We’ve done a swell job! Shock and Awe cowed the populace exactly as predicted, Rumsfeld’s slim and trim Army marched in, established law and order, and controlled actions on the (…) -
Franco – Arab Ties Could Yet Survive Sarkozy’s U-Turn

1 commentBy Nicola Nasser*
The defensive and guarded Arab reaction to the self-pronounced and reported pro-Israel and pro-America statements of Nicolas Paul Stephane Sarkozy de Nagy-Bocsa, who was sworn in as the new President of France on May 16, as well as his Jewish connection and that of his foreign policy team, have alerted Arab capitals and public opinion to a possibly imminent break with his country’s more than a five-decade old balanced approach to Arab conflicts and the Arab – Israeli (…) -

Who’s Behind the Fighting in North Lebanon?
26 May 2007 par (Open-Publishing)
"...Given Bush administration debacles in Iraq and Afghanistan and its encouragement for Israel to continue its destruction of Lebanon this past summer, the situation in Lebanon mirrors, in some respects, the early 1980’s when groups sprung up to resist the US green lighted Israeli invasion and occupation. But rather than being Shia and pro-Hezbollah, today’s groups are largely Sunni and anti-Hezbollah. Hence they qualify for US aid, funneled by Sunni financial backers in league with the (…)

Let’s face it, the Neocons were right. After only 4 years in Iraq the isurgents are finally in their last throes. We’re turing the corner, realizing a new way forward, supporting a dynamic new purple democracy (Falwell didn’t like that!),and we’re chasing the terrorists down, smoking them out of their caves and bringing them to justice, (…) -

News: Iran ’accused of attacks in Iraq to bolster US strategy’ - “The Bush administration may be highlighting accusations that the Iranian government is behind attacks in Iraq in order to strengthen its hand in preparing for military strikes on Iran, according to a leading British think-tank.”
This analysis suggesting that the US is using Iran as a scapegoat for it’s failures in Iraq comes as “Iran says it will not succumb to "enemy" efforts to halt its nuclear program, (…)
