March 11, 2006 — Llewellyn King’s consummate Washington insider newsletter, White House Weekly, never disappoints when it comes to straight and unvarnished reporting from the White House Press Pool. In the March 8, 2006 issue, the press pool reporter describes an account of what happened when the White House press plane touched down to refuel at Shannon Airport in Ireland on its way back to Washington after Bush’s recent trip to India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Upon deplaning and repairing (…)

Amos Dror, the former head of research in Israeli military intelligence, recently made the following statement to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s Lateline programme: "If Israel will be hit by any missile, the Iranians will not have enough people to count their dead. NEW BRITAIN — About a hundred Central Connecticut State University students participated in a walkout Thursday, in protest of federal cuts in student aid and inflation of the military budget. WILLIAM F . BUCKLEY’S "APOLOGY" : RETURN TO SENDER
10 March 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentI read with great amusement of news conservative "icon" William F. Buckley has now admitted that Operation Iraqi Freedom was a big mistake. It takes a Yale man 3 years to discern that obvious conclusion while the rest of us , the great unwashed , figured out the plot before the massacre commenced. Buckley disingenuously claims Der Fuhrer didn’t place enough boots on the ground to subdue Iraq’s restive masses ..... Such malarkey ..... 80 -90 % of the people of Iraq (…)

LEDEEN LINKS CHAVEZ , CASTRO TO IRAN : PNAC MARCHING SOUTHWARD ?
9 March 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentMichael Ledeen , appearing on C-SPAN , has apparently linked the governments of Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez to Iran. I am getting this information second hand but I have no reason to believe that it is not true.... Are the neocons preparing to march southward rather than mounting an immediate invasion and occupation of Iran ? ..... One can readily envision a scenario of a staged-managed "Al Qaeda" attack , say perhaps a "dirty bomb", being smuggled over the Mexican border . ....... (…)
