On November 30th, 2005 President Bush gave a "war strategy" speech in front of a packed auditorium of U.S. Navy midshipmen at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland.
It’s so much fun deconstructing such a masterpiece of well thought out propaganda as one of our fearless leader’s locker room speeches. The key element of the propaganda used here is Emotional Leverage. As defined by ”Propaganda 101: Mastery of the Dark Arts”, "Emotional Leverage is the use of imagery (…)

Formal Administration Lies
By Peter Fredson
December 15, 2005
The administration lies have been coming fast and thick recently. The President just made a series of speeches, Condi made a series of speeches, and Cheney made several speeches. Ordinarily it would be hard to keep up with so many speeches, except for the fact that essentially they are all the same speech. In several the wording is identical, from cut-and-paste jobs of phrases that sounded good and suckered some Bush (…) -

DEATH SENTENCE; TOO DIFFICULT FOR AMERICANS, BUT TOO EASY FOR INNOCENT IRAQIS !

1 commentDEATH SENTENCE; TOO DIFFICULT FOR AMERICANS, BUT TOO EASY FOR INNOCENT IRAQIS ! The case of the execution of Stanley Roorkie Williams has drawn much attention in the western media. It took the American justice about 24 years to trail, convict, and execute a man who had brutally killed 4 innocent people !. This may express the preciousness of human life, that should not be terminated without a justice trail and due cause.
ON THE OTHER hand, the scene in Iraq is very much gloomy. The (…) -

2 commentsMuch more than 30,000 Iraqis civilians were killed by the invasion !
Mr Bush has announced in a recent speech that about 30,000 Iraqis have been killed after the invasion of Iraq. This number is very little compared with the actual number of civilians killed in Iraq. The reasons are:-
1- The USA troops kill from the Iraqis and do not bother to keep an account of their killing. General Tomy Franks was quoted to say: "We do not do body count". 2- In the first few months after the (…) -
Bush Estimates That 30,000 Iraqis Killed
13 December 2005 par (Open-Publishing)
2 commentsPresident Bush offered encouragement to war-weary Iraqis on Monday but acknowledged they have paid a heavy price _ 30,000 dead _ as a result of the U.S.-led invasion and its bloody aftermath.
As Iraqis began voting in parliamentary elections, Bush said that no country has formed a democracy without "challenges, setbacks and false starts."
"There’s still a lot of difficult work to be done in Iraq," the president said, "but thanks to the courage of the Iraqi people, the year 2005 will be (…)
