Representative John Conyers, ranking minority member of the House Judiciary Committee, will object to the counting of the Ohio Electors from the 2004 Presidential election when Congress convenes to ratify those votes on January 6th. In a letter dispatched to every Senator, which will be officially published by his office shortly, Conyers declares that he will be joined in this by several other members of the House. Rep. Conyers is taking this dramatic step because he believes the allegations (…)

Ohio Recount a Sham, Public Protests Needed
30 December 2004 par (Open-Publishing)
4 commentsColumbus, OH - A day after the conclusion of the flawed recount of Ohio’s presidential vote, Green Party presidential candidate David Cobb called on Congress to challenge the legitimacy of Ohio’s Electoral College delegation.
"The recount of Ohio’s presidential vote was conducted in clear violation of both the spirit and the letter of the law. We can have no faith in the results when both the initial election and the recount were conducted in a haphazard and clearly illegitimate manner. (…) -

17 commentsRE: Group holds fast to Kerry cause with Beacon Hill vigil By Donovan Slack, Globe Staff (December 29, 2004) http://www.boston.com/news/...
by Robin Baneth
Yesterday, a member of the Boston Coalition Against Election Fraud — petitioning outside John Kerry’s home — tried to persuade a passerby to send a post card to Kerry urging the senator not to certify the electoral college results. The pedestrian replied that he was perfectly happy with the election results, being a Republican. ’’I (…) -
Sour Red Grapes: Contest 2004
29 December 2004 par (Open-Publishing)
3 commentsIn a recent article regarding the Ohio re-count effort called "Election Lawsuits Not Constructive ," we hit upon that quirky expression employing that resonating image of sour grapes: "A substantial number of the complaints and lawsuits appear to be frivolous, serving no good purpose. Often, they sound like sour grapes complaints voiced by those who simply can’t cope with the fact that their candidates lost the election."
Yikes. Could this be true? Are we insane anti-fascists solely (…) -

42 commentsAn Open Letter to Senator John Kerry on Irregularities, Fraud, and Conspiracies
Dear Senator Kerry,
I was proud to support you in every way possible this year, including casting an enthusiastic vote for you in New York.
Since the polls closed on November 2, I have carefully monitored the counting and recounting of votes in Ohio, and the independent investigations of possible fraud.
Monday afternoon, your attorney Don McTigue joined John Bonifaz in two important motions to preserve (…) -
Blackwell on the Run
29 December 2004 par (Open-Publishing)
15 commentsWhen Mahatma Gandhi said, "First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, then you win," he could have been talking about Ohio in 2004. Secretary of State Kenneth Blackwell, who presided so triumphantly over the granting of Ohio’s 20 Electoral votes to President Bush on December 13 even though the recount had not yet started, has gone past ignoring and ridiculing the recount movement. Now that his house of cards is tumbling down, he is starting to fight back.
In a (…) -
Internet Vote Fraud: Means, Motive, and Opportunity
28 December 2004 par (Open-Publishing)
11 comments"Triad Governmental Systems, Inc. services voting tabulators via modem" is absolutely breathtaking to us in the Information Technology field. Triad non-chalantly used this modem method to reset machines in preparation for the Ohio recount. No doubt that this is a practical short-cut: Makes sense; it saves gas, time. In fact, this is the same mechanism that I — a computer consultant — use to support 200 computers spread out across North Carolina. It is now public record that Triad "legally (…)

eFax Senators to Demand They Investigate the Election Fraud
27 December 2004 par (Open-Publishing)
10 commentsDear Americans, please act now, nothing else matters. George W and his cronies have lied to start a war, they lied about 9/11 and now they’ve BLATANTLY stolen the election. For those that have been following the ’voting irregularities’ since Nov 2nd, there is no doubt that this was a fraudulent election.
If we don’t step up and demand our Congress investigate this and give us a re-vote, then Bush is America’s first dictator. It really is that bad. What will it take for you to stop your (…) -

For those watching the growing body of evidence concerning election fraud in our past presidential election, one question has remained: Why don’t we hear about this on the evening news?
As of yet it’s been hard to explain why the controversies in Ukraine make the headlines, but when similar problems are discovered at home, you have to scour the Internet to find (…) -
Second Ukrainian Election: Results Reversed in a Blowout for the Liberal
27 December 2004 par (Open-Publishing)
5 commentsExit polls predict a 15% margin for Yushchenko, but at this point with 10% of the vote counted he leads by an astonishing 25%. The first election was a nail-biter, and now a month later it’s total blowout. Last time the ’conservative’ won by a hair, but this time with more scrutiny making the fraud impossible, the ’liberal’ won in a landslide- imagine that.
Official Results:
Opposition leader Viktor Yushchenko headed toward victory in a re-run of Ukraine’s rigged presidential election on (…)
