VHeadline.com commentarist Megan Love writes: We’ve been hearing a lot about how this or that nation isn’t allowed to obtain these or those weapons... then we’re told that Israel is at risk and is not a threat, and can be trusted.
Really?
In articles prior to this, we explored the different ’gang agendas’: Bush Inc versus Everyone else.
We established that Venezuela’s President Hugo Chavez has been tripping around the globe setting up military arms supply deals, natural resource (…)

Who Cares? The weak and the conquered are always the ones blamed...
2 August 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
Former Nordland University (Norway) associate professor, Dr. Abbas Bakhtiar writes: Those that know the “real†history of the Middle East are not shocked with the recent tragic deaths of so many innocent people. They know that this episode, along with so many other atrocities will soon be forgotten. It is the nature of things that it is always the winners and the powerful that write the history.
The weak and the conquered are always the ones that are blamed for all the misfortune that (…) -
Often the Abuser is so skillful at abusing the abused can’t see the Truth
2 August 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
VHeadline.com commentarist Megan Love writes: Apparently many people do not believe the truth about the insolence displayed by Israel for international law, will or peace. I don’t think the following data requires an elaborate definition to make it clear that is very wrong ... there hasn’t been a time that Israel hasn’t shown arrogant and insolent defiance for every other nation on the planet... UN Security Council Resolutions on Israel since 1948

Shannon Five verdict should be clear message

2 commentsListening to the reports of the cruel and unjustifiable carnage being perpetrated by Israel over the past few weeks would depress even the most carefree of people.
The realisation that Israel is allowed to freely breach every international law in the book without fear of ever being held responsible is an international scandal. Those nations that would wish to stop the carnage cannot and those nations that have it within their power to make it stop — that is, the United States of America (…) -
Radical thinking on Israel
2 August 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
The world would be a better and safer place if there was no Israeli state. For if there was no Israeli state, there would be no armed campaign against it and no armed campaign in defence of it.
I can understand perfectly well why Jews across Europe felt the need for a homeland state following the Second World War. No wonder they thought that the only way to ensure that there would never be another holocaust was to set up a state of their own and ensure its total security.
But the cost in (…) -
The myth of strategic supremacy
2 August 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentThe United States total support for Israel’s war in Lebanon is both alarming and mystifying. How can it be explained? Ties of sentiment undoubtedly play a part, as does the work of the hydra-headed Jewish lobby in convincing Washington opinion that US and Israeli interests are identical and that they face the same enemy in the shape of “Islamic terrorism†. Mention must also be made of the important role of the ubiquitous neocons, both inside and outside the Bush administration, in (…)

Israel Repeatedly Targets Lebanese Red Cross Ambulances
2 August 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
TYRE (IPS) - Israeli warplanes are attacking the Lebanese Red Cross repeatedly, members of the medical aid group say. "The night of July 23 we were called to rescue a family whose home was bombed," Kassem Shaulan, a 28-year-old medic with the Lebanese Red Cross in Tyre told IPS. "Just as I finished loading the three injured people in my ambulance, it was struck by a rocket and all of us were injured." The ambulance, now parked outside of the Red Cross headquarters in this coastal city, (…)

Israel - A Malignant Tumor In Need Of Radical Surgery
2 August 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
With the countless bombings of Lebanese civilians and the indifference toward human life including atrocities committed in the past, Israel seems to many almost like a malignant, malevolent tumor. Israel is not the only guilty party in the current mass murder/genocide of the Lebanese people. The US and her European allies are equally guilty by turning a blind eye to this massacre. This further adds to the false moral issues the US and the UK touched upon after 911. The bombing of innocent (…)

Ready,Willing, NOT Ready!
2 August 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
The governments of the world are quite communicative with the main stream media these days. Our leaders are all blowhards!
Syria’s Assad has a prepared statemen every day, in essence saying "We’re ready if invaded"
Iran’s Ahmadenijahd has no loss of of invective for Israel and the U.S. "We will not take orders from the West. We are willing to talk but not give up our nuclear enrichment program" He’s telling Bush, politely, to go to Hell. Bush says he won’t go.
Bush tells the Press that (…) -
Qana Massacre Protested at State Department Rally
1 August 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
“No one dies from being uncomfortable.” - Ehud Olmert, Israeli Prime Minister
Washington, D.C. - It was steamy at “Foggy Bottom,” the site of the U.S. State Department’s headquarters, on Monday, July 31, 2006, near the campus of George Washington U., at 23rd and C St. (NW). The noon time heat and high humidity were only a part of it. It even got hotter as the passionate speakers/chanters ripped into the U.S. Secretary of State, Condi Rice; the Bush-Cheney Gang; and the ongoing wrongs of (…)
