I was going to write a Christmas message to all of my readers, but an error occurred which prevented me from posting any message on my blog. As I see now, it has cleared itself.
With that said, I do hope that all of my readers enjoyed this special day with family and friends. I also hope that our soldiers still deployed over in Iraq and Afghanistan entered our minds as we celebrated a day so full of life. They should have been home amongst their (…)

In watching this YouTube.com video feed titled, Al Gore on stopping global warming in which he was interviewed by Larry King there is a comparison to what Al Gore has been doing to that of Newt Gingrich’s tactics to reach out to the grass roots level. Before you deck me for even comparing the two, please take note of Gingrich’s quote made the other night concerning freedom of speech as it (…) -

When George Will of the Washington Post had this to say of Senator-elect James Webb as Webb tried to avoid President Bush at all costs, “Webb certainly has conveyed what he is: a boor. Never mind the patent disrespect for the presidency. Webb’s more gross offense was calculated rudeness toward another human being — one who, disregarding many hard things Webb had said about him (…) -

In the American criminal justice system victims of rape, sexual harassment is often blamed by the defense attorney representing the rapist. As I was reading this Washington Post column As Iraq Deteriorates, Iraqis Get More Blame the same can be said for blaming the Iraqi people for the strife and civil war that now surrounds them.
I would say, let us put the blame squarely where it (…) -

President Bush just does not get it especially as one reads Bush says U.S. won’t pull out of Iraq. This mad man states, "There’s one thing I’m not going to do, I’m not going to pull our troops off the battlefield before the mission is complete," Your illegal mission, President Bush was set to fail right from the beginning since there is NO WINNING the war on terrorism. Besides that, any terrorist (…) -
The Media’s ‘Irreparable Harm’ to our soldiers and to the Iraqi people

While I wish to congratulate NBC news for labeling this war over in Iraq a ‘Civil War’, it does not take back the irreparable harm done upon the Iraqi people as well as our soldiers. The reason I chose the terminology of irreparable harm is because that was the phrase used in the Bush V. Gore case in which a the counting of votes during that presidential campaign would be seen as an (…) -

With the newly elected Democratic controlled congress set to take power in January, one Congressman, Charles Rangel has called for the reimplementation of the draft. I really do not know how I feel at this at any given moment. I am just so sick and tired of these wars that we have been fighting and want us all just to sit down and breathe. Please remember that word breathe.
But, my (…) -

In reading the main stream American press accounts of the Congo elections in which the loser filed a challenge to the outcome, it was as if I were having a flash back to the 2000 presidential elections in the United States.
One former rebel who lost the election “filed a lawsuit Saturday claiming he was cheated of millions of votes” Does that sound familiar to anyone reading (…) -

There is a big lesson for us all as one reads E.J. Dionne’s piece Remember who sent you in which he speaks to the new Democratic majority of why they were elected to take over both houses of congress and also this piece once again reaffirms my original belief that those across America did not vote for this new majority to get their pound of flesh through an (…) -
Howard Dean’s accomplishments versus James Carville’s failures

Newsmax.com reports that James Carville the political has been stated that Democrats should fire Howard Dean as the chair of the Democratic National Committee. In the most laughable statement he likens Howard Dean to that of Donald Rumseld when he said, "I think he should be held accountable. I would describe his leadership as Rumsfeldian in its competence.”
Unlike Rumsfeld, Dean’s (…)
