Victory! Advertisers Cancel Rush Limbaugh

Dear Activist,

Sandra Fluke is the Georgetown Law student who was denied the right to testify in front of the sham, no-women-allowed hearing that Republicans held on access to birth control. When Democrats gave her the chance to testify, she was a very brave, intelligent, and articulate advocate for women.

Rush Limbaugh, in response, launched a ruthless and completely disgusting attack. He said that she wanted to be "paid to have sex." Then this: "What does that make her? It makes her a slut, right? Makes her a prostitute." And then he said that he wants her to post videos of her having sex online so that he can watch.

Where Are The Women

Attacking women is nothing new for Rush Limbaugh (or Republicans), but this time he has gone too far. Keeping women out of decisions about critical health policy is unacceptable, but assaulting them for standing up for the health care they deserve is truly outrageous. We can’t let the Republican crusade against women’s rights and access to essential health care continue.
