To all of our readers around this planet I want to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas, Feliz Navidad, Happy Hannukah and a Happy Kwanza ... no matter how we express ourselves during this season, it is far more important to do so with love in our hearts.
The other day, taking a cab to the market, in conversation with a Jewish cab driver, I asked him his take on how we should express what is in our hearts during this season. He said: "If someone wishes me a Merry (…)

Venezuela’s true patriots ... unlike the cowards who stayed home and griped!

With the outcome of the Venezuelan elections now decided President Chavez’ MVR party now holds a convincing majority. No matter what the fevered opposition says, it is still a majority since those who did in fact go to the polls in torrential rains decided which direction Venezuela must democratically take.
MVR won 114 out of the 167 seats and this boils down to 68% ... it must mean that Chavez is doing something right if he gained such a majority to push through (…) -

I first want to thank Mark Parent and LiveJournal.com for bringing this video feed to the attention of many (English Version from Italian TV): US Chemical Weapons Attack on Iraqi Civilians.
But before you watch this video which is 27 minutes in length, I want to strongly caution you that what you are about to see is so horrific and if you have children, under no circumstances are they to view this feed.
While I have seen graphic photos of the “Bush War” in Iraq, I (…) -
URGENT: Stop the Trafficking of Human Sex Slaves

I just finished watching that movie on Lifetime TV called “Human Trafficking” and it turned my stomach to know how young girls and young boys are trafficked world-wide and even within this country.
So we must be their voices and their power to end their slavery where they are worked to death for years as sex slaves. According to this movie the selling of human beings ranks third after the selling of weapons and drugs. Also according to this movie approximately (…) -

This past week, I have had discussions with a number of people through emails where they have suggested that I back down in my criticisms of Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton since she voted for the war and perhaps will be the Democratic candidate come 2008. But, if I want to remain truthful with my readers and have credibility, I simply have to stay the course. As an American that has been against this war from the start, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton’s vote for this war (…) -

This following sentence caught my attention in that “Booze Crisis” article in the National Enquirer where it stated, “Bush, who said he quit drinking the morning after his 40th birthday, has started boozing amid the Katrina catastrophe.”
I am of the opinion that his addiction to alcohol and his use of it have always been problematic for him.
What leads me to say this is the picture that was released the morning after his alleged choking incident involving that (…) -

Dear Folks,
So, Jim Pinkerton thinks that Katrina victims are whiners? If you wish to send him an email, here are his email addresses, jim@jamesPPinkerton.com or pinkerto@ix.netcom You may also wish to remind him that aid from other countries such as Venezuela and Cuba were offered at no expense to tax payers, but this federal government said, “Thanks but no thanks”
My letter to Jim Pinkerton:
Dear Jim,
We have corresponded on a cordial level in the past, but I (…) -

I am outraged as I read where FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) is directing Katrina donations to none other than the Rev. Pat Robertson. This is the same man who broke the law by threatening Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez’ life on national TV.
According to information readily available at Sploid, it states “FEMA has released to the media and on its Web site a list of suggested charities to help the storm’s hundreds of thousands of victims. The Red Cross is (…) -

Never in my wildest nightmares did I ever think that I would hear the word refugee used in relation to the citizens of the United States of America. But, thanks to Hurricane Katrina, our worst nightmare has come true.
Some may say "I cannot believe this is happening to us" and my reply to them is similar situations have happened across the globe for a very long time and it stands to reason and given the stupidity of this government, our time would come.
My heart (…) -
Will oil-supply disruption give Bush carte blanche to invade Venezuela?

Several atmospheric conditions came together which was described by the National Weather Service as the “perfect storm.” This monster of a storm sunk the Andrea Gail along with her captain, Captain Billy Tyne ... Hollywood even made a movie starring George Clooney.
The reason why I ask if Katrina is our ’perfect storm’ is because the oil industry took one on the nose when many refineries were hit by this monster storm.
* This past June the FX channel aired a (…)
