Pierre-Édouard Stérin s’attaque au journaliste qui a révélé son projet politique d’extrême droite
Non content d’avoir multiplié les menaces judiciaires contre l’Humanité, qui a publié des révélations sur son projet politique d’extrême droite, Pierre-Edouard Stérin s’en prend désormais au journaliste qui a signé ces enquêtes, Thomas Lemahieu.
Le milliardaire a en effet poussé le cynisme jusqu’à créer une société baptisée Lemahieu Holding, ce qu’il a fait savoir à notre confrère par un mail personnel, alors qu’il persiste à ne pas répondre aux questions posées par ce dernier dans le cadre de son travail d’investigation.
Ce choix vise à associer le nom d’un journaliste connu pour son sérieux à un montage financier lié à l’extrême-droite. Il s’agit d’une tentative d’intimidation et de disqualification, qui franchit un nouveau seuil dans l’acharnement d’un homme de pouvoir contre l’information.
En instrumentalisant le nom de notre confrère, Pierre-Édouard Stérin s’en prend non seulement à une personne, mais à l’ensemble de la profession. Son projet est bien d’instaurer un climat de peur, où enquêter sur les puissants pourrait exposer à des représailles publiques et des humiliations.
Que dire enfin du fait que le milliardaire se vante d’une telle opération auprès du grand reporter, ce qui interroge au minimum sur sa personnalité.
Le SNJ-CGT et sa section de l’Humanité apportent tout leur soutien à Thomas Lemahieu et rappellent que de tels procédés sont indignes. Nous refuserons toujours la banalisation de la violence contre les journalistes de la part des détracteurs de l’information.
