De la Bretagne à la Sarthe, des collectifs s’organisent contre des projets d’implantation d’Amazon sur leur territoire. Alors qu’en 2017, seules trois régions françaises accueillaient des entrepôts, aujourd’hui, aucune n’est épargnée. Mais où est le problème, si la multinationale créé des emplois ? Tel est souvent le discours tenu par les élus favorables aux géants du e-commerce. Or, les Amis de la Terre France viennent de produire un rapport déconstruisant cet argumentaire. En réalité, la vente en ligne casse et précarise le marché de l’emploi.

Au bout de la pointe du Raz, lieu emblématique de la Bretagne, une banderole : « Macron a livré notre région à Amazon ». Ce 24 mars, une journée nationale contre les implantations d’Amazon mobilise les collectifs citoyens. Ici, en Bretagne, le collectif Stop Amazon Briec se bat depuis le printemps 2020 contre un projet d’entrepôt à dix kilomètres de Quimper. Un hangar de 6 000 mètres carré, dont la construction, en cours, pourrait être achevée à l’été.
